The noK profile was designed to give a neutral print on RC paper with consistent tone into the shadow areas. The pK ink will typically result in warm tones in deep shadow areas so I just left it out of the mix and used only LK, LM ,and LC across the whole scale. The toned LK has enough density to give a reasonable dmax, but will not be as high as the pK ink. The noK is also just a "convenience" profile for those who primarily print on matte papers but have the occasional need for an RC print (no need to switch black inks).
