No. The 7000 belongs to my client over an hour away. If the printer was close by I would try the dampers first. But figured if I have to get to the dampers I might as well replace the heads too. But you are correct about gunk build up. I think it was Ernst who recomended to replace the dampers first to see it that fixes the banding/bad nozzle check problem. The printer itself hasn't many prints through it but has had about four different ink sets ink. I'm sure the dampers are not in great shape. Tomorrow is the big day - installing heads and dampers. I'll let eveyone know how it goes.
