Steve, I've got the MIS color inks in a 3000, too, but I have experienced minor problems on 3-4 occasions. If I've printed several sheets and then let the printer sit idle for a few hours (without turning it off) and then try printing again, the magenta doesn't start printing until a couple of inches into the print. It begins gradually and then within a couple more inches is working fine. Since the problem is self-correcting, I don't yet know what a nozzle check looks like when the problem is occuring. I'm wondering if you (or other list members) have experienced this.
