It is logical - if printer head use only one way to print all information on paper - it should use much bigger drops and the inks penetrate more to paper. As a result is more ink to receive the same density. If printer head print the same with 8 ways and use smaller drops, second and next ways will print on paper partialy covered by ink and penetration into paper should be lower.
