There is an updated version just out that should address those issues. I find that the 20d does a great job with digital mid res sharpen set to 20-30% and then 10-25% of super sharpen. This can leave room for the final out put sharpen and maybe a haze cutter filter. I find that if the haze filter is applied correctly that you can get by fablulously with less sharpening. ( digital cameras). And more appearance of surface depth and shape contour. Might be worth checking out the new version...
