RE: [Digital BW] What would it take - QTR & QTRGUI for windows

2004-11-05 by Stephen Billard

It is not color management (well, not the difference between MAC and PC
anyway.) There are two issues. First, I don't have the knowledge of how to
interpret the curves into RGB changes. Second, I don't have the experience
in working with TIFF images.

Anyway, from what I have experienced, soft proofing is really not that
accurate. The only real proof is the print. I am not interested in expending
a lot of development effort for something that I think is of marginal value.
