That's right, I was trying to feed it in landscape mode. I thought that if you wanted to print landscape, you told it in the interface (portrait/landscape mode) and put in the paper *landscape*-ways. Obviously not :-) It's OK now I'm feeling less of a twit, but it did waste some paper while I worked the three variables out (orientation of the image, portrait/landscape button in print i/f, paper orientation in printer).
