I've had this happen to me with my 1280 unsing MIS on Prem Luster. I thought it might me a roller problem since I did not see it on EEM. see: http://www.sbphoto.net/Banding.htm Sean Message: 17 Date: Sat, 06 Nov 2004 18:23:15 -0000 From: "josh_wertheimer" <josh_wertheimer@...> Subject: 1280 banding. The problem is vertical banding in dark gray areas. Here is a scan of a dark gray patch: http://www.joshwertheimer.com/gsr/linesingray.JPG This happens when printing on Heavyweight Matte, Photo Paper, or any other paper I've tried. I don't expect the printout to be dot free, but I would think I should get a continuous gray tone. Nozzle checks are perfect. Head alignment helped a little. I am using the latest drivers, and I got the printer yesterday. Thanks. josh -- Fine Art Black & White Photography http://www.sbphoto.net
