I've mostly lurked on the site and let me thank all of you for the time, energy & advice you so freely give. It's truly appreciated by those like me who might really benefit from your efforts. Thanks, thanks, thanks. my dillema: I print 95+% b&w. I have a 2200 w/OEM inks and use the Wilkerson (Wilkinson?) profiles. I consistently get a decided magenta cast and to estimate +green is inconsistent and paper/ ink costly. I'm (as you can guess) very frustrated and reluctant to spend another $500 for RIP sw of the MIS or similar ink setup. Any advice to cure this situation and encourage me to keep the 2200 is certainly welcome. possible (logical?) workarounds: 1) spend $200 (the price of a used 1280 that I'd be willing to spend) and get Epson RIP 2) sell my 2200,get a 1280 and print BO 3) sell the 2200,get the 1280 and use Lyson Ink set any other ideas? your perspective on all this will be greatly appreciated. IE: what would *you* do? Thanks again, Robert
