OK Ron, my deathgrip on the extra $300 is loosening as we speak, and after only two replies!.I guess I figured that was where I'd be heading. I went to the Colorburst site, though, and 1)all the SW for OSX is also $800 and not listed for the 2200,so I'm a little confused. If you're working on a Mac,are you using OSX,or printing in 9? 2) What program did you get for $495? That's the price for LE-4000,but that's made for OS9. X-Photo is at $700 and OSX but is listed for the 4000 only. so...which one did you buy? ( I'll be working on a Mac,with Photoshop CS-requires Postscript?) I'm not as obsessed w/ price as it sounds-I'll probably spend the dough, but now to find the "right" RIP to GRIP. Thanks, Robert Steve's suggestion of imagePrint is an $800 solution-fair enough, but I'd rather not.--- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, Ron Slaughter <slauter53@y...> wrote: > Get a grip; buy a RIP.
