Yes. QTR can use margins as small as 0.125 inch (a safety factor to prevent overspray). > The reason I ask is that, when I print an 8x10 on letter sized paper, > QTR leaves a messy ink trail on the left margin of the page (covering > about 1/4" of the image itself). When I downsize the print to 7.75 x 9.75 it prints fine. > > I just printed a 12x18 on super b sized paper and again got a > 1/4" ink trail on the image and more ink on the left margin of > the page. > > I'm an Epson 1280 user, on a PC and I'm only having this problem in > landscape mode. This may have nothing to do woth your problem, but are you telling QRT to print 8x10 or 12x18? QTR gets the print size from the file itself, so you have to set the size to 8x10 or 12x18 in the file itself (many programs let you change the "image size" in a TIFF file, including PhotoShop). The size you set on the command line, the batch files, or in QTRgui is the paper size. So, if you're setting 8x10, it's going to start printing your image 7.875 to the left of the right edge of the paper (8 inch paper size - 0.125 that I mentioned earlier) and continue to the right until it runs out of paper 8 inches later, making a mess. Hope this helps
