"Is it ok to leave it turned on for long periods of time?"

I'm not familiar with the 2100 specifically but when I asked Epson tech
support this question about my 1280 and 2200 on I was told that they should
always be turned off when not in use, that leaving them on all the time
causes the inks to dry up. Is it ok to leave it turned on for long periods
of time?

Hi,
yesterday I installed a new Epson 2100.

I know that Epsons use ink for cleaning every time that you turn them on.

Is it ok to leave it turned on for long periods of time?

I've got a long learning curve with this printer - I can't work out why some
prints work well and some are blue when printing is set to black.

I'll get there in the end. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
