howdy all

i've been using the supplied qtr epson ultrachrome curves with my
7600 and eem with great success.  i just picked a roll of entrada
fine art that i'd like to profile/design a custom curve for use with qtr.  i'm using
epson ultrachromes and running on a mac.  my questions are:

1. is there any difference profiling custom qtr curves with the epson
ultrachromes as opposed to say mis ultratones, or is there no way to
create custom profiles with the epson ultrachromes?

2. when measuring (with an eye-one), what's the best surface to place
underneath the paper?  white mat board, black mat board?
