All, Okay, so with the recent discussion on "best" paper weight, I realized that I wasn't entirely sure about what weight restrictions there are on a 1280. There isn't a straight path option (unlike the 2200), and I did get some kind of new, squeaking sound the one time I fed ~300 gsm paper (Hot Press) through it, so I thought I'd go look it up in the documentation. I didn't find anything, actually. Now, I know that people print on some pretty heavy paper with this printer, but I am wondering if anyone knew the actual specification? I'm going to be using some "better" paper soon (either permajet alpha or entrada) and wasn't sure if feeding a lot of ~300 gsm stuff through it was a great idea. thanks. and if the archive search feature worked properly (I only get like 5 results no matter what I search for), I'd have looked this up on my own. thanks, allan -- Technical Projects Specialist Academic Computing Stanford University v - (650) 996-0546 f - (650) 725-4685
