I have become a little disillusioned with Ilford. I have been printing on Ilford Smooth Heavyweight Matte paper, and have come to realise just how poor quality it is compared to EEM (Still called archival matte over here). Ilford SHM is cheaper, brighter, and double sided if you want that sort or thing, but the surface seems too smooth, and areas of dark tonality get blotchy. It doesn't give good tonal transitions. The Ilford Smooth Pearl needs a better colour profile that the one that Ilford supplies, which results in a green tinge. (Yes, I know that this is a B&W group.) So at this stage I wouldn't like to see Ilford supplying too much paper to Epson. F_P
