Steve, I guess we have to believe that technology will improve as we march onward. Is the next generation technology significantly better? Maybe yes, maybe no. Will the new I1 Photo be better than the old? I'm sure Eye-One would like its customers to believe this. Perhaps, the more pertinent question is: Will the price of the newest technology be the same as the old? Typically, each introduction of the next technology hits the market at a lower cost. What did we all pay for the Canon D30 several years, ago, compared to what the newest Canon 20D is selling for! My opinion has always been that it's just a matter of when you want to jump in...in no time at all the same thing you just bought will be cheaper and better. Just my 2 cents worth...
