Paul,one more bit: When you get it all back together again, set up a waste bypass bottle so you don't ever have to do it again. I have a square plastic bottle (an old Kodak stop bath bottle) velcro'd to the right side of the printer's base, under the protruding section. a small hole in the sheet metal allows you to feed the drain tubes into the bottle, and you're done.
