Digital BW, The Print

In the thumbnail view in windows explorer I can all files (including 
raw) except 16bit greyscale tiffs, which is very annoying as nearly 
all of my work is in this format.  I know I could use a third party 
package, and I do use the browser in PS CS, but I find the general 
use of explorer an absolute must.  Does anyone know of any plugins 
or settings that will allow me to do this?  thanks
