Some more questions: How is the printer attached to the computer (USB, Firewire, etc.)? Have you successfully used previous versions of QTR? Can you print the "21Step.tif" file? (I'm not sure it comes with the new QTR, so you may not have it.) I have not had the experience you describe with QTR; however, I have seen this behavior when the printer gets out of sync with the data the computer is sending. Sometimes you have to turn the printer off, clear out all printing queues, and start over. -Stephen www.sbillard.org/Stephen > -----Original Message----- > From: seacap8 [mailto:photographer@...] > Sent: Saturday, December 04, 2004 3:37 AM > To: DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com > Subject: [Digital BW] Re: Help with QTR problem please... > > > > > Sorry Stephen, > The printer is an Epson 9600. > > --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "seacap8" > <photographer@g...> wrote: > > > > Have new version of QTR for windows (2.1a) and QtRGui installed on > > WinXP. > > > > My file is a grayscale tif in 8bit.
