Help with QTR problem please...

2004-12-02 by seacap8

Have new version of QTR for windows (2.1a) and QtRGui installed on
WinXP.

My file is a grayscale tif in 8bit. All my printer prints is a bunch
of numbers/letters/symbols.

Any ideas out there?
TIA

Thanks for cutting out the original question. Now I know what printer, but
since I didn't save the original I don't have the question.

Sorry Stephen,
The printer is an Epson 9600.

Some more questions:

How is the printer attached to the computer (USB, Firewire, etc.)?
Have you successfully used previous versions of QTR?
Can you print the "21Step.tif" file? (I'm not sure it comes with the new
QTR, so you may not have it.)

I have not had the experience you describe with QTR; however, I have seen
this behavior when the printer gets out of sync with the data the computer
is sending. Sometimes you have to turn the printer off, clear out all
printing queues, and start over.
