Digital BW, The Print

All this recent talk about it so I try it.

Haven't given it any thought because I just did it but the scan when 
imported to photoshop has two bright magenta and blue 'strips' on one 
edge.  If it were a newspaper ad, I would say it was out of 
registration.  It is not parallel and not all the way across the 
negative.  I can see the tones underneath these brilliant colors, so 
the 'structure' of the image is there.

First thought is the negative is 'curled' a bit, since it's a 5x7 
taped to a transparency glass plate in my Duoscan.  Second is a 
missalignment of the scanners readers...comments?
