Re: Epson 1280 w/ UT2...or Epson 2200 w/UT7...or...?

2004-12-09 by Michael Hung

I don't think you want to swap carts.. you will waste lots of
expensive ink. It is hard to do with one printer.. I have a R800 for
color and my 1270 (for b/w) is broken. I decided to get a C86 instead
to replace for b/w (it's 1/4 the cost).

I think your best choice is to get a 2200 now, and try QTR with the UC
ink and see if it is good enough for you. If not, get the UT7 ink or a
C86 cheap.

If I didn't get the R800 recently I would have gone for a 2200.

Good luck
Michael
