Do you mean that you printed a full colour image? QTR only supports BW images. Or do you mean that you printed a grayscale image saved as RGB? Which profile and what paper did you use? I'd expect printing with the glossy K would give you less than ideal results unless you have a profile specifically designed for it. It's different in tone from the matte K, and has much weaker DMAX on matte papers.
