I use the Monaco spyder just like the one that died and until it dies I have no disire to replace with the latest and greatest of the week. With my monitor calibrated and using Roy's Lab grayscale workspace along with UT2 inks in an Epson 1280, I can successfully get WYSIWYG with my system using QTR. Now I can go back and reprint some images from a year ago when I was just struggling with this task. Due to an unfortunate series of circumstances involving a cat being where it shoudn't be, my impatience, sudden eruption of escape, and consequent falling and crushing of aforesaid device (my fault), I am in a quandry (the cat is fine . . . she doesn't get any salmon for a day or two . . . maybe a week).
