The 1280 is measurably the best/smoothest I've seen -- especially at 2880.
But the 1280 at 1440 is so good, using 2880 is seldom worth the wait.

The 1160 is very good, and it is my favorite (in part, due to the ink-mixing
efficiencies of having only 4 inks).  Some can see the dots in the colder
curves under bright light and up very close.  Kodak defines its viewing
distance for its grain standards at 14 inches.  So, I use that also.  At
that distance, I cannot see dots in the 1160 output.

The 1280 at 2880 prints differently than at 1440.  Because most 1280 owners
appear to prefer 1440, I switched to 1440 as the standard resolution for the
curves for that printer.  I have some draft 2880 curves for those who want
them.
