But, some do put un-sprayed Semimatte under glass just to get the better dmax in the image. I don't spray all the gloss prints. The Costco paper and the Epson Glossy Photo paper just don't need spray. So, I use them for snapshots and, especially the Costco, proofs and draft prints as I work up an image.
