Yeah Chris, I did the same thing when first using Print shield. Try this spray very lightly, that is about 6" away from the print, no closer and NO farther. (Too close makes rows and too far away and some of the spray actually semi-dries before it hits the print. WAIT till that is fairly dry 10 to 15 minutes, then turn the print 90 degrees and repeat. I find that makes a "flat" non-mottled surface.(I just sprayed 36 prints last night using that method with no mottling.)
