In Adobe PS's print pane (Print with Preview, Color Management) you should have Same as Source in Print Space. Then hit Print. In the next pane that comes up you need to select QUAD2100 as the printer (or whatever you called it on installation). Under Presets you can select any saved presets - I suspect you have not saved any QTR ones yet. Where it says Copies and Pages select Quadtone RIP and you will be able to select the curves etc. > From: danny <dannyt@...> > Reply-To: <DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com> > Date: Sat, 18 Dec 2004 20:02:25 +0100 > To: <DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com> > Subject: [Digital BW] Need More Help reg QTR, 2100 and OSX > > > After fumbling with the installing and trying to get it to work through a > firewire cabel, I've now got an USB cable and have manage to get one > slightly warm print on Epson Premium Semigloss paper. > > However, my printer dialog boxes in Photoshop CS are not the same as shown > in the QTR documentation. > > In my "print" box, after "Print with preview", I choose QUAD2100, on the > preset I'm suppose to set QTR, but on mine there as noQTR only standard. > Also I'm not able to select any curve to get warmer or cooler prints. > > Do I have to use MIS ink to be able to get different tone, or is there > something I'm missing here....? > > I'll appreciate any help here, > thanks, > danny > >
