There is no neutral curve. The idea is that you blend the cool and the warm
to achieve what looks neutral with your printer, paper, and inks. You don't
say what printer and inks you're using. I use an Epson 2200 printer with
Epson color inks except that the black is MIS Eboni. With that printer and
those inks I get what to my eyes is a basically neutral print on EEM with
"cool" on the left, "warm" on the right, blend at 75, no gamma or ink
adjustments. I don't know about premium glossy, I don't use it.

Subject: [Digital BW] Newbie to QTR and QTRgui - Need Help

I'm new to QTR and need some very general guidelines on how to set up
the settings to get a decent B&W print. I have created a grayscale
image in PS with an embedded gamma 2.2 profile. I have brought it
into ATRgui, and am not sure what settings to use.

I would like some basic settings for printing on EpEnhMatte, and also
on Epson Premium Glossy. Not sure what paper settings, inkset,
curves, etc, to use. Also, I don't see a "neutral" curve set (or do
you just select "None"?

Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks, Lou
