If you just set up a print server you will necessarily have to set up a full blown network. That alone may solve your problem, even without connecting your printer to the print server. All the problems with printing that have been resolved were either improperly set up networking or improperly shared printers. As to the firewall, go to the control panel. There you will find an icon for the Windows Firewall. (At least if you are running XP SP2.) Finally, just a minor point. QTRgui is just the front end to Roy's print driver software--QuadToneRIP. It is doing all the real work here. -Stephen www.sbillard.org/Stephen > -----Original Message----- > From: steveabrink [mailto:steveabrink@...] > Sent: Monday, December 20, 2004 6:53 PM > To: DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com > Subject: [Digital BW] Re: Print Server - Was: QTR - GUI Problems... > > > > > Thankd for the good info...!
