Digital BW, The Print

Back in October,  I posted a thread telling about how my prints were 
coming out of my 1280 as sepia when using a neutral curve. Paul Roak 
was kind enough to email me directly with tips with my problem. 
Unfortunatly, I never was able to resolve the problem. I consdered 
just sending the printer out for repair but the costs involved in 
shipping and service were as much as a new printer.So my digital B&W 
printing came to a halt.
So now I'm considering buying a C86 and using the MIS EZN system and 
my question is how much of a difference might I see in the prints 
using the C86/EZN combo versus my previous 1280/UT2 system?
