Digital BW, The Print

I have just installed the QuadtoneRIP 2.1 on my epson 4000.  I am not getting 
very good prints as of yet. I think mostly the problem is I have not figured out 
the correct settings. I was wondering if there is a manual or maybe some 
suggestions on some of the settings. I think I understand the Tone Blend and 
Curves if you have any suggestions for the Lnk Limit Adj., Gamma Adj. and 
the difference between QuadTone Rip and Q QuadTone Calibration.
