I think I know where all this confusion is coming from. Windows has quite a few places where "left-over" installation info from old versions is popping up. Here are three things that should insure a consistent version: 1) Delete all the QTR-like folders from Program Files. This is especially important if you've tried to save some old versions by renaming. 2) Delete the shortcuts in the Start Menu, there's one at the "top" level and one under a QuadToneRIP subfolder. The QTRgui install changed where the shortcuts went at some version so its likely you have both and they may point to different places. 3) Now install 2.1c. IMPORTANT: When you get to the page that shows the location for the install, make SURE it says: C:\Program Files\QuadToneRIP or whatever drive and system folder is appropriate for your system. If you had a different folder at some prior time this may be incorrect, just browse or edit the path.
