Re: Solving QTR problems -- Good News Update

2004-12-31 by Roy Harrington

Yes, things have been going on while I was out too.

I've been able to isolate two major problems --

1) the sheet/roll paper feed problem

2) people with multiple drives are likely to have difficulty.

----------------------------

There are still two known issues that are easily worked around.

1) Only the 1440 resolutions should be used. 2880 and 720 are not
working and wouldn't be useful with the current profiles anyway.

2) There are some foreign character restrictions. Some special characters
are a problem in either the filename or the folder pathname.
Limiting yourself to standard ascii characters will work around this.

----------------------------

I've sent the info to Stephen and as soon as we can get the simple
fixes in and a new download we should all be a lot happier.

Thanks for your patience.
Roy
