From experience, I can support the recommendation of R800 for color and
Epson C86 for b/w.

Laurence, lately I've been printing Ilford Gallerie Smooth Pearl on the
C86 with MIS UT EZW (Eboni Black and warm inks). It's excellent, but if
you favour a more neutral print, definitely go with UT EZN (neutral inks).
I can't compare Eboni Black with Photo Black on this paper, but I have no
complaints at all using the Eboni Black, so my curiosity about the
difference has died out. It's beautiful.
