You can buy software on from MIS that allows you to re-set the Epson carts to full. So, far, it seems to be working. There are a couple of issues with this set up. First, the software only works if your printer is connected via a parallel port. Since I normally connect via USB, this requires me to change the connection whenever I want to re-set the chip. Second, it appears that you need to re-set before the chip reads "empty"--if a chip reaches an "empty" reading, it cannot be re-set. This happened to me with the black cart on my system. I was able to solve the problem by prying the chip off the OEM cartridge that came with the printer and putting it on the MIS CFS black cart (the chips snap off an on pretty easily if you're careful), and now it seems to be working. Mechanically, I've had no problems with the MIS system once I got the cartridges loaded with ink. You need to figure out how to do this on your own, however, because MIS's instructions assume filled cartridges, which they do not provide with the MIS VM quadtone inks. Chris Patti
