I've run numerous tests now with FAHP and offcuts of Ultrasmooth from rolls.
it's that epson coating that  seems to make the difference. Ultrasmooth
gives better blacks/dmax, a 'crisper' prints
(and better colour) than FAHP.

which is a shame, as FAHP has a lovely feel to it and almost no flaking - as
well as a variety of weights
