Thanks Marcus. Very helpful. I also have seen that George Schaub is
coming out with a new book on b&w digital photography using photoshop.
It is not being published however until may 2005.

I was just in Books a million this evening and noticed they had a book
called "Digital black
and white photography". I browsed through it and it seems like
something worth
purchasing. I too have been waiting for someone to come out with a book
addressing
digital black and white photography being that is the majority of my
work. The book has
some techniques I was familiar with as well as some that I was not. It
sells for about 25
bucks but I saw it on amazon.com for about 17 bucks. Amazon also has
another book
geared toward black and white digital photography called darkroom to
digital. If you buy
the two together, you get a price break $36.89. I will probably order
them next week
sometime.

Heres the link to the book on amazon.
