I'd like a couple of things. First, from a command window, type SET>env.txt This will create a text file in the current directory named env.txt. Please send me that file. Second, run a print job in pipe mode. This will create a log file, QTRLog.txt. There will be three lines in the QTRgui part of the log. These are the command lines for executing the QTR printing. Delete everything from the log except for these three lines. Then place double quotation marks around the executable names on each line--i.e. "c:\program files\QuadToneRIP\bin\QuadToPrinter.exe" Then place a vertical bar "|" at the end of each of the first two lines with spaces before and after. Then delete the end of line character after each vertical bar and space. Now save this file as QTR.bat. It will be a batch file that should run your print job. Run the batch file and see if it will print. Let me know the results. -Stephen www.sbillard.org/Stephen -----Original Message----- From: John Moody [mailto:moodymz3@...] Sent: Monday, January 10, 2005 9:10 AM To: DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com Subject: RE: [Digital BW] Re: QuadTone RIP 2.1d clarification... Steve, I'm on w2k, dual Xeon CPU kernal. Pipe mode does not work, batch does. I'm not sure what info you would like to have? If I turn on debug, it stops executing when the terminal "rawprint" comes up, task manager goes to 100% idle, and nothing more ever happens. If I click away rawprint, the log error is QuadToPrinter "No pages found" If there is more information I can dig up, let us know. When I run batch mode, QuadToPrinter runs at 100% on one cpu for what seems like a very long time before the page actually begins spooling. This is printing the step-21.tiff file.
