I have never used a modern FB paper (not since 20 years ago when I first learned b/w printing anyway).. but isn't FB paper not resin coated? So I am just wondering how could that be similar in terms of feel. (I actaully really wanted to know because I have been using matte papers (EEM, Moab, FAHP) for my b/w customers (weddings/ portraits) and of course all of them are used to the RC type papers coming from the lab.) May be I should switch to PK.. Anyway, if you look at Wilhelm site, you should be able to find the life expectancy of these RC papers under 2200/4000/7600/R800 type printers..
