Do your images have a "tiff" extension? If so, try renaming them to have a "tif" extension. I also get the same error message when trying to open a file with a tiff extension but I am able to open it after changing the extension. Don't give up - Roy's QTR and Stephen's QTRGui are really great. Metamerism free using the standard Epson inks. And very easy to use.
