QTR should be centering the image on the physical page if you check
"Centered". Is this not what is happening?

I took another look at the problem and see that if you uncheck 
centered and scale to fit and then adjust the percent amount in the 
latter and the margins in the former and keep an eye on the print 
placement window you can make a rough approximation in order to 
center.  Is this a reasonable approach?  Is there something better?
