Digital BW, The Print

I'm sure I've not been watching the ball very closely so I'm curious 
about the discussions about glop. I'vs gathered from some of the 
latest threads that it is a fixative or coating medium used to coat 
and remove or reduce bronzing with glossy surface papers.

Where is it sold? I assume it is applied via a special cart but how 
does one do that through software/work flow/printer driver? Does it 
require a septone printer and how does it affect the print head?
