Re: epson 2200 and MIS UT7

Hello Mike,

I use a 2200 (after having used an 870) and have fewer clogging
problems than before. I haven't kept score, but my impression from
reading forum messages for several years is that there are far fewer
clogging complaints with the 2200 compared with the 1280. The 2200
has some other advantages as well, notably an ink level control which
is important when using the UT7 inks.

As far as the printer is concerned, yes. But I had a problem once
where Epson UC carts that sat for several weeks had dried up or
something, they just wouldn't work. So I think if there's a problem
it would more likely be with the cart than the printer.

I don't know, but it's easy enough to ask them. If you're certain
you'll be using UT7 then why not skip buying the prefilled carts...go
ahead and get the 4oz bottles and EZ Fill carts.

Good luck with the 2200. For me it's worth the extra cost. I have a
friend who's been through several 1280s and wasn't real happy with any
of them. The new EZ fill carts are a dream come true.

Clayton
