John
The "Import linearization Readings" button is for importing a tab-
delimited text file. There is an example of one in the linearization 
examples folder. It just lists the 26 values.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
