Steve - I pretty much agree with Doug. Power ReTouche is my number one filter set, especially for BW conversions. silver Oxide does a great job as far as it goes, but doesn't match the feature set. Another outstanding choice is Color Efex Pro. All three of these come in 16bit versions.
