Hello,
I'm trying QuadTone Rip on an XP machine and it's very promising.
Some questions for more experienced users here--and
apologies in advance if they've been covered. I didn't see answers
in the archives.
1- Since there's no curve in QTR for Epson Velvet Fine Art, I'd
be interested in opinions on which preloaded curves seem to work
well with this paper (or, are best avoided).
2- Most curve names are easy enough to decode (eg: UC-EEnhMatte-
cool = Ultrachrome inks, EEM paper, cool tone). But what is UC-
NoBlack-neutral?
3-Re the "blend" slider: If I simply want to use one curve (and
not blend two curves), is it best to select the same curve
on both sides of the slider, and leave the slider control in the
middle at 50? Or, set the curve I want in the left-hand window,
ignore the right-hand window, and set the slider to 100? Or do
something else.
4-Finally, is there ever reason to use the "none" setting.
Many thanks in advance,
