RE: [Digital BW] B&W software apps ...

2005-01-18 by José Miguel Ferreira

Denton,

All my workflow is in 16 bits (up to printing). My average image has many
layers (some of them created by PhotoKit) and ends up between 500 and 800
MB...

It works just fine.
José

Hi Jose:

I was looking at the 'toning' set which looks very cool... but the fine
print states that all the tools "Please note that PhotoKit is optimized for
images that are between 8-18mbs (useful on larger sizes as well) and
therefore some effects do not translate well to small web images"

I'm more concerned with how they react on larger images in the 50+ mb
range. Do you regularly use the bw conversion tools on larget files?

Regards,
Denton
