Yes, thanks, Tony, you did answer my question, and I appreciate it. 
I'm thinking about trying to use the R800 or its big brother for 
matte prints.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
