I think you're ready to go. Be sure the black ink type matches that paper
you want to use: Eboni for matte, Photo black for glossy.

The chip resetter and modification of it are when you decide to use bulk
inks and refill carts. Then you need to reset the chip so the printer
doesn't think it's out of ink.

Those warm inks are pure carbon. If the tone of the print is too warm for
you, use some neutral carts to cool them down.

Good luck.

Subject: [Digital BW] New c86

Hi, I am new to the group. I have a 2000P and as you know it is not
the best for B&W. I still need it for color so I do not want to
convert it. So, by Paul's recommendation I have bought a C86. It is
new and still sitting unopen.
I bought the following inks from MIS:
EZ-T0441-K, EZW-T0443-C, EZW-T0443-M, and the EZW-T0444-Y.
Is there anything else that I need? Do I need a "chip resetter?".
(Not sure what that is.) Do I need to make any modifications to the
C-86 itself(?) As shown by the illustration from Paul that shows a
piece of cardboard applied and an edge cut, or is this just for the
new clear c86 carts?
Thanks for any help you can give.
